I have been a christian for 32 years and only in the last few months have I really begun to understand what it meant for God at that moment. He loved me long before I chose Him, yet He adopted me into His family with open arms. I have been angry with Him, I have had times when I have pushed Him away, I have run and I have drawn closer to Him. Not once has He ever left me or thought of tossing me out of His family.

He promises this type of love to all who want to receive it. This is quite an amazing invitation! We are all invited to be in His family, not one person is excluded from this invitation, however we must choose it.

God loves us so much that He wants the decision to be ours. His love is unfailing and forever! So the next time you feel unloved reflect on this...God pursued you and has loved you with an everlasting love that never changes, because His love endures forever!
