Today has felt like a day of walking through new doors. Not just any doors, but doors of destiny. My day started with a meeting. A meeting with a head pastor of a church just a couple of blocks away from our home. I had butterflies floating in my stomach all the way to the church, however as I walked through the doors of the church peace descended on me and I was filled with a confidence that was right from God. It was such an amazing feeling. The meeting was relaxed and I had a great time.

Have you ever been new and trying to meet people? I am there right now. I went to a Bible study this morning and I still felt uneasy. There were different people at my table this week than last week and it was hard for me to open up with them. It would have been better to have had the same people from last week, but I believe God is trying to stretch me and teach me and open doors with more of the people in the group. I talk to a few people, but I still feel uneasy and I am not quite sure how I fit yet. Hopefully that will change.
Sundays seem to be our days to fellowship. Last Sunday we went to two services, a barbeque and spent time with my mother-in-law. It was a wonderful day. This week we went to one service, had lunch with the pastor's family, then visited with my mother-in-law. I love these times of fellowship and rest. We are really trying to rest on Sundays and not do any work. This is not always an easy task. It has been really rewarding though, and it makes me feel better about working six days a week.
What a great day this has been! We had the opportunity to go to churches this morning and go to a church barbeque in the evening. It was amazing! Normally we do not go to multiple services but we really felt the Lord drawing us to attend both, so we did.
