Hello Everyone!
It is December 1st and I am finally back to my daily blog. First, there was the computer issues and then I have had to try to get back into a routine. Now I am back and I plan to go back to blogging once every day. Not only do I find this to be cathartic, but I am sure many of you have been able to relate from time to time with what I was talking about. So much has happened since I was last blogging that I feel that I would be doing us all a great dis-service to go through it all today. So today I will just talk about what has happened most recently and allow the other things to be illuminated as God puts it on my heart to share. Last Thursday night, our one and only vehicle broke down and I was devastated. We were on the way to our Newcomers group at our church and this was when they were talking about church membership. I really felt like the enemy was trying to keep us from being there for that. It was quite disheartening. The beautiful thing was how our true friends were there for us. My family back home was all praying for us, our friends here have offered us rides when we needed it, and one really generous person actually allowed me to use their vehicle. What an amazing blessing to have friends like this! The second blessing is that we actually got a vehicle within our price range, which was the real challenge. The only thing that has delayed us getting the vehicle out on the road is that I have to wait for my insurance history to be faxed from Alberta. I have learned a lot about this experience and look forward to being able to get around on our own again. The verse for today is 1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him" (NASB) We prayed that God would give us a vehicle that was in good working order and in our price range and He gave it to us. It is so comforting to know that it was the will of God.

I did my devotions right when I woke up. It was profound and there were several things that were upsetting me and making me frustrated and I kept going back to the verse. It is so great that God always gives us what we need when we need it.
